Information about the Provider

QSC is a popular operator in Germany. See http://www.qsc.de for more details.

QSC seems to use their own SIP server, the User-Agent string shows "QSC SIP server".

How to set up a trunk

The provider will provide you the account number and the password. A typical setup will look like this:

There are two things that you need to be careful about:

  • It seems that QSC has a problem with UUID (RFC4122). You need to turn this off. We added this possibility in Version 1.5.1.2. See the hint in the discussion area for this page Trunk Settings.
  • As outbound proxy you should use "sip.qsc.de". It seems that QSC does not provide DNS SRV records.

You don't need to specify a STUN server or a keep-alive time, because the QSC software will make sure that the PBX will keep the NAT binding alive (if it is behind NAT).

Please see Inbound Calls on Trunk for configuring the inbound routing.
