From Pbxnsip Wiki
pbxnsip Attendant Console (PAC)

This application can be downloaded and installed on any Windows machine. To download the application click here. The login page
Once you start the PAC you will see the below login screen.
In this screen you can provide the user name, password and the PBX address to login. If you have multiple domains configured on the PBX, then you will have to provide the username@domain, instead of just the username. The password is same as the "Web Password" set in the extension's page.
Refer the picture below.
Note that if you are running the PBX at a different port that default port (80), then you need to provide that information. PAC will remember this information if you set the “Remember User Name, Password“ check box. Also, if you do not want to see this page for the future starts, then you can do so by setting the “Sign in automatically” check box. You have controls to logout, minimize to the system tray, close PAC buttons on the PAC. You can also right click on the icon and set the "Always on top".
The Home Page
Once you successfully login to the PBX, you will see the following Home Screen.
This is the main PAC page. It is like a control panel. From here you can perform several operations. Some of them are –
- Monitor extensions.
- Monitor queues (Not ready yet).
- Monitor co-lines (Not ready yet).
- Monitor conferences (Not ready yet).
- Address book operations.
- Send an instant message.
- Change the cell phone settings.
- Change the user settings
- ‘One-click DND’ for the logged in user from this screen.
- Log out of the application
Monitoring extensions
You can monitor extensions by clicking on "Extension" icon on the home screen. The extensions you monitor are controlled by the "Watch the following extension on PAC" field configuration on the PBX. You have to explicitly provide the extensions separated by space here. Refer to the below screen for the details.
Address Book
The Address Book feature allows you to create and manage a personal address book using PAC. You can use the search box to find any contact from your address book. Then choose the address from the drop-down and hit dial button to place a call to that contact.
You can add a new contact by clicking "Add New Entry" link. You can always edit or delete an entry by clicking hte respective icons on the entry.
Placing, Disconnecting, Pickup call
The PAC uses CSTA (Computer Supported Telecommunication Applications) to place a call, disconnect a call or pick up a call. Currently, this menu is not context sensitive, i.e., all the options are displayed all the time. In the future, we will add intelligence to it.
Placing a call
In order to place a call to any of the extensions displayed here, you can click on the "Call" option from the pop-menu. First your phone will ring and once you pickup, you will be connected to the destination.
Disconnecting a call
Click on an extension where the call is connected, and then select "Hangup".
Pickup call
You can pick up an incoming call to another extension using PAC. Click on an extension that is in alerting/ringing and select "Pickup". Then your phone will start ringing and you can answer the call. Note that this is not "answer call". This is "call pickup" - pick up someone else's call.
Do Not Disturb
You can set your extension's DND status from the PAC. You can simply click on the "DND" button on the home screen to set or reset the DND status. Notice the "x" on the DND button when the DND is ON.
Cell Phone Integration
Today’s telephony landscape is dominated by cell phones. The PAC offers cell phone integration. Click on the CellPhone icon to setup the cell phone related information
Instant Messaging
To send a message click on the Instant Message icon. Type the phone number in the To input box, then type your message in the Message input box and press Send.
Replacing your own background image
If you would like to replace the existing image with an image of your choice, simply overwrite pac.png and place that file in the <pac install dir>/Resources folder. Note that this file should be created with '262 x 379' dimensions.
